New Mexico State line

Filed under: Uncategorized — brandappers @ 7:10 pm

Stopped in Breckenridge, TX at the L&L family restaurant for breakfast. It was delicious, we will stop here anytime if we come back this way.

Mineral Wells

At 4PM we just past the New Mexico state line. It has been a long day so far, but Larry wants to go another 100 miles to Roswell. I’m worried that he is pushing himself too hard. The landscape around here is, to say it mildly, boring as hell. Cottonfields as far as the eye can see. If I had to live here would go absolutely mad. Today was also my first day of pulling this monstor of a trailer and to my surprise it wasn’t all that hard, but there was also no traffic until we pulled into Roswell and tried to find a Wal-Mart up and down Main st.

Wal-Mart Roswell

Hahaha! But here we are back in a Wal-Mart parking lot and it looks like a small RV park there are at least 5 rigs with their slides out. That was kind of surprising to say the least how folks set up here. One guy looks like hes going to stay a while. Not us, we will blow this town in the morning. Can’t wait to see my Boy some-times tomorrow. <3

P.S. (edit by Larry) There was also the bank parking incident where Sigrid ran over curbs and then drug a tree down part of Main st. First learning curve haha!
